Your blogging experience

This experience in general was very interesting, I never wrote a blog before what we do now in classes so it’s being something new for me, it was a little hard at the beginning because I never talk that much of me in Internet but after several weeks of writing blogs it got easier. Also this experience help me to know more about my classmates and to know them better and them know better me.

I think that my skills of writing have been as always and have not changed much, maybe I change somethings like write more faster, be more relaxed when writing or things like that, but not that much. I must say that I have learned several words that I did not know so that it can be said that it is an advance.

I would like to include more photos, gifs or memes to make the experience more funny to the person who is reading my blog. There's always something about writing on blogs but I would like to write about your favorite animals, your favorite sport, about natural medicine, about Ignacio GutiƩrrez (memeboy) and a lot of things.

Well that’s all see you in the next semester:P

From the invisible to the visible world and back...

Some of the most important techniques for the Pharmacist (at least in the laboratory area) are the distillation and the filtration, they are so important because these techniques help us to separating impurities from our compound in the case of filtration, like if we need some of one compound and this have impurities, this impurities can change the effect which produces the starting compound. And the distillation helps us to separate two or more compounds that are mixed.

So these two techniques help us to make a mix from the compounds we really need for specifics things. That’s why I choose them, because if you mix things which theoretically we should have but they are not in good condition or they are not what we wanted, we could make a thing that could be dangerous.

I already knew about these techniques but they taught me this year at the university in the course "Laboratory Techniques". They are se basic for all the laboratory techniques but are so important. Also the distillation and the filtration are not dangerous for the human welfare but you always need to be careful in all the things. I thinks these techniques will be used for a long time because are so useful and they have no disadvantages.

The most enjoyable subject...

I've always been interested in how things work, like why if we throw something this falls to the ground or how our body works or how different compounds can be combined… for that in High school I always enjoyed learning all the sciences (biology, chemistry and physics) which are the ones that help us to understand everything.

But yeah I think that my favorite is Chemistry, in classes it is all about understands the matter more than learning from memory all…Well there are some exceptions (nomenclature)... like I say  I really Chemistry because you can know how thing works, like how to combine two compounds and form another that that fulfills some other function.

The theory and practice are both so important because if you do not know the theory in practice you can create some compound that you did not want and that could even be toxic and could be very dangerous… Also if you know a lot of theory but nothing practical you will never know if you applied well or things that are formed in reality and not only in theory. The theory and the practical complement each other.

Chemistry is very interesting because there are many compounds that can fulfill many functions and when you combine these can fulfill other functions. It is also possible to discover other compounds that have not been known or things that were not known of the compounds that had already been discovered
