English Language Challenges

I think that English is a language that everyone should learn, i mean, it works for many things like; communicate with other people who speak another language, you could say that it is the standard language to converse, also there is much information that serves us, whether for our career or for any subject, which is only in English so it is also a necessity.
Personally since I was a child I learned English playing video games, since most of the games of that time were only in English (Zelda , Mario , etc), so I had to learn to be able to advance in the game.
My experience learning English in the university I feel that it has been normal, almost the same as in school, having classes and always learning some new word or to refresh the memory, the only thing different would be blogs. I think blogging is a good way to apply English, it's something that we are not used to do (at least me) even in my language and doing it in English makes you apply several things and helps you to continue learning from language.
I think I need to improve the pronunciation of English, I think I can improve it by simply speaking more, it's a thing of getting used more to the language and the words. And maybe vocabulary , I always forgot some words so I have to refresh my memory a few times :p

Ahhm outside the English class I use the language a lot, as I said before it helps me to translate videogames, to read books either related to my career or some information I need and, without a doubt, the most important thing to communicate with people who speak the language, whether in online videogames or in real life.

Change to my study programme

Well, we have to talk about the Programm study in our career, I can't really say that much about it  because this is my first year in the career and I think that to have an opinion on something you must first live it or go through that's why I can't have an opinion on the levels that are higher but I will talk about this first year.  The only thing that I don't like it's that if you fail a course, you fall behind a lot in the career, it's almost one year more ):.
In this first year of the career, the subjects that we have are the basic for everything that it's coming in the next years, levelling all the new students in chemistry, maths, biology and physics. I like it, I mean that I will not change it, is necessary to be able to face the future. I think that we have quite a workload, I mean, it's a lot of subject-matters for every subject and not that much time to dedicate to each subject, but yeah, that's the university (?).

About the faculty facilities I must say that we need another place where we can have lunch, it's too small the place that we have. Also, it would be good to make some arrangement to the library or make it bigger, I don't really like go there to study, I don't feel like in a real library, like in other faculties where the library is very big.

I really like the teaching methods of our teachers, as always are exceptions, but almost all the teachers in this career (for now) have the disposition to explain everything you ask, in the best possible way. The only thing that I would change could be that they sent more exercises type test/exam to make them WITH ANSWERS.

Well, that's all. See yaa~~

Summer Holidays

I don't really have any plans for this summer , as most of my holidays , i think that i would stay here in Santiago (yeah, super funs holidays), go out with friends, go to the cinema, stay in home maybe  , i don't know, i always improvise... Also another option that i usually do is to go to the beach with my family or with friends, "ViƱa Del Mar" or "Valparaiso", almost all the time we go  to the “Quisco” or  to the “Tabo”, there is a beach called “El Canelo” and I think it’s the best beach right there. I love the sea, take a bath in the beach, and have some fun .It's always good leave the city, do things that we don't usually do there and relax.

The other option that i have if to go to the south with my family, more specifically, to see my grandmother who is in a countryside near of Temuco (in Hualpin).I don't really like countryside, there is not much that you can do there, I’m a person that like more the cities, but if my family is going i will go too. The most i like in the countryside it's that is so relaxing, and the air from the south doesn't compare with the pollution in Santiago, also like I say before it’s always good leave the city and this is the perfect place to relax and do nothing.

Those are the plans that I have for now , for now…

Pets~~

Okay , Since I remember , my family had always had pets, to be more accurate, we always had a dog in our home. The first dog we had was a German shepherd called "Pola", for some reason she got pregnant (we don't know with what dog, had to be a dog from the street). We give away the doggys but were left with two, "Cholo" and "Quina". Then the same thing happened, Quina got pregnant (i think in the same way like Pola), a lot of doggys again, so we give away again but we were left with one this time, "Tania". Pola died a few years ago ): , but we still have the three remaining (they are already a little old).

I love my dogs, they are all very affectionate, but a little fighters each other, more precisely Tania with Quina. Tania is very jealous, if i'm petting to Quina or Cholo she always come and moves them so that I can pet her, she is the center of attention. Cholo and Quina are very quiets dogs. All three like to enter to our house and go to our bed to sleep.

I can't imagine my life without them; they have always been there, since i was a child, always playing with them, giving them food, going for a walk. I mean one day they will have to go like Pola, but I hope they are still many years away for that and continue having good times with them <:

Postgraduate studies

It's a hard theme to talk about, I mean, yeah if in the future I can take a postgraduate I would do it. I don't really have a reason to do it, it's always good to learn more about what you studied and specialize in something that you like, also the difference of the money you get after getting the postgraduate it's something...  but now it's my first year of university and I haven't looked for information about the postgraduate yet.

Many years are still missing before I take this postgraduate and this is my first year in this career, for now, I don't have a favorite subject , I'm interested in toxicology but it's in the last year of the career so I will have to wait to that moment and see how it is, maybe in the future i will hate toxicology and I will love another subject.

So I don't have a specific subject that I would like to do in the postgraduate but I would like to do it in another country, like United States or in another country in Europe if I can. I think that in more developed countries than in Chile I can learn much more, that's why I want to do it in another country.

If I do the postgraduate I would like to do it in a part-time course, I don't really want to stress for taking the postgraduate course, but if I have to do a full-time course I would do it~~~

My future job

Like I say in another post I'm not a person who thinks much about future or really cares about his future, just about living the present... But I will do my best.

For now i'm studying Chemistry and Pharmacy, my plan is to finish this career and then go to work in a pharmacy or in an industry ( indoor / i have not decided yet), work a few years and earn money and after all that time possibly get a master( i don't know in what).

Of course if i can go to another country to work or to study i will do it , i mean travel to another country to do what i love to do is amazing. The salary of a Pharmacist newly graduated is not bad, you can live with that , but after getting the master you get a lot more money, for that is my plan to get the master... Get more money ($$$$$$$$$$) to travel more around the world or buy the things i like.

I'm not really interested to get another career after getting graduated of Chemistry and Pharmacy, at least for now, because i don't really like another career so for what reason i will study something else that does not interest me. But maybe the time passes and i will change my mind and i get another career, nobody knows...

Favorite Musician

Its quite difficult to say who is my favorite musician because don't really like the only musician, its more about the band in general. I will say my favorite band instead but that its hard too because i really like a lot of bands, so i'm going to say the band that i have been listening more recently.

Well this band is "Blink 182", its an American  rock/ pop funk band. In the 90's they were known because of his high-energy live shows and for his irreverent lyrical toilet humor. Blink-182 was initially known as "Blink" but an Irish band with the same name threatened legal action, in response of that, the band appended number "-182" (  why -182?, for no reason lul).

I really like this band because the style that they have, they music is really moved and some song don't make sense but they are fun, a perfect style of good music for me. Also their videos of Youtube are so bizarre but like them. I think that i have been listening to this band since i was 10, for those times, i was bored to listening all the same music and i told to my brother to recommend me bands, and this was one of them. From the beginning i really like them and from the last 3 weeks i have been listening them so much. It's a really cool band.
